Once a neglected neighborhood filled with crumbling adobes, Barrio Viejo is now the pride of the city of Tucson. Old adobe brick homes have been restored and are now decked out in brilliant colors. New homes have been added. These 12 months of watercolor images of homes I photographed on the side streets and alleys in the historic Barrio Viejo will bring color to your home–or make a lovely gift for 2027.

Above, on the left is an old stone home for September. On the right, above, for March is Meyer Street at the heart of the neighborhood. Below, right is a charming little bungalow for December with with Our Lady of Guadalupe on the front.

In July, you will have the image of the Wishing Spot, a Registered National Historic site. January starts with a blast of brilliant yellow on a small old Spanish style adobe cottage. And on the right below it, is the burst of color for November.
Every month has a large calendar at the bottom with generous spaces to write notes and reminders.
