News! I just published ‘Javelina Cousins and the Magic Compass’ in paperback and Kindle

Javelina Cousins on bike trail cover image

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Tucson’s founding, I wrote and just published a book for young readers featuring four young javelinas, the native peccaries we all know and love when they are at a distance. (And are not so fond of when they are eating Halloween pumpkins in our front yard or digging up the garden.)

A compass found in the Arizona sand beside a bike trail leads these four Javelina Cousins—Hank, Holly, Victor and Lulu—on a search for a mysterious treasure.
But is the compass really a ‘Magic Compass’ that will help them?
And is there really gold hidden in the old cabin in the Chuk-son desert forest?
Are they safe surrounded by cactus and unfriendly desert creatures?
And what about the ghost that someone saw at the old cabin years ago? Was it real or not?

It is illustrated throughout and available to read right now here. And for people on Kindle Unlimited the ebook is free.
