I stopped in at a nearby Post Office to mail my early-voting-by-mail ballot and out front of the Post Office was this e-bike. Clearly it is custom made and makes a lot of sense if one lives in the steep Catalina Foothills area which starts just across the street.
I looked closer and it turns out it was from the Pedego Bikes store which is located a couple of blocks away on River Rd. Pedego bikes are made in Vietnam and Taiwan, but this one appears to have been customized locally. I wonder if Pedego Bikes parks this bike or a similar one outside the Post Office every day. While I was there, no one came near the bike but me.
Checking the other side of the bike I noticed an ad for a book “Drawdown”, on the wooden bike basket. A book about current environmental conditions, it is on the bestseller list on Amazon.
Advertise the e-bike. Advertise the e-book. Both by parking this outside the snail mail Post office.
